Livestock is very important for the community. The benefits are many, among others:
- Meeting the needs of food and public health.- Be a part of traditional ceremonies.- For labor, transportation and processing of soil.- Meet the welfare of the community.
Make livestock as part of farming in each household by maximizingbenefits and managed in a manner that is sustainable, for today and forfuture. Livestock must be maintained and cared for properly. Noticehealth because good animal care is the most efficacious drug forlivestock. Always provide good quality livestock feed, adequate water, and cageComfortable and clean. These things will help prevent the emergence of diseasesor any problems.
It is a common tradition to keep the human infant remain at home for 40 daysafter birth to improve her health. If the same thing applied toanimals, keep them for a few weeks after birth, will increasesurvival ability, size, and animal health.
If the animals live healthy, happy and breed well, they willprovide more meat, eggs, milk, and puppies. This will improve the living standardand health of every citizen. All types of livestock is important, but with moreprioritize the cultivation of the smaller animals will provide more benefitsthan cultivating larger animals because:
- Small Animal more often childless.- Small Animals, including fish, produce more meat even though the land areaand feed less than the large animals.- Small Animals is much better for the environment.- Less meat is wasted, due to more small animals can be slaughteredat any time as needed compared with large animals.- Poultry can provide eggs.
